Self Care Instructions after a massage / Daily recovery Instructions

- Increase H20 intake (Half your body weight in ounces daily)
- 15 to 30 minutes of stretching daily and / or broken up throughout the day
- 15 to 30 minutes of Foam rolling (after work out / end of day)
- 8 hours of  sleep daily
- Clean diet (Fresh, Raw, Organic)
- 30 to 60 minutes of daily exercise (cardio / weight lifting)
- Ice/Heat soar or tired muscles. (apply 2 to 5 min each pack)
- TAKE AS MUCH TIME as you can fit in your schedule for you!

   Here at NW Lifestyle Massage I, Ray Knutson L.M.P offer a wide range of massage treatments ranging from Sports post and pre-event, Therapeutic treatments, Deep tissue, M.E.T, Trigger point therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports injury prevention / rehabilitation to name a few. I also will offer some self care instruction on how to prevent and/or Rehabilitate any sports injuries allowing healthy pain free movement. Pain and loss of range of motion should not be ignored.These are signs that there could be a muscular imbalance, trigger points, Loss of muscle tissue, and/or nerve impingement present. Add this, along with a build up of scar tissue and fascia and we have the recipe for disaster. All of these ailments can further the chance of injury as well as increase inflammation all over the body. In order to properly treat these effected areas a wide range of massage modalities are needed as well as a skilled therapist to come up with a plan of action targeting the problem areas and setting goals as to what we would like to accomplish over the coarse of these treatments. After we work through the initial massage treatment and can see some results as to where we stand with R.O.M(range of motion), and pain levels we can come up with a maintenance plan to fit your specific needs. The main goal here is to achieve full R.O.M (range of motion), decrease pain / muscle tension, create healthy habits (diet,exercise,posture,sleep), increase strength / energy, and overall be the best version of ourselves we can be. I am here to help you set and achieve these goals. I am also here to answer any and all Massage and Self care related questions you may have to the best of my abilities.(contact info below). All Treatments are provided at my office 1104 Main st. Suite G50, inside the Arts Building LLC. All appointments can be made online by pressing the button below. You can check availability/set your appointment all at the click of a button. All cancellations / changes to appointment must be made 24 hours before date / time of set appointment. A $30.00 cancellation / rescheduling fee for all missed or canceled appointments will be applied to the clients next visit. My hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
